The Texas Medical Association
Foundation is pleased to announce
the host city chairs of its 26th annual
gala, which will be held on Friday, May
17, during TexMed 2019 at the Hilton
Anatole Dallas.
Host city chairs for the 2019 TMAF
gala are Cheryl and Samuel Chantilis,
MD, Dallas.
Dr. Chantilis, a reproductive
endocrinologist and infertility specialist,
is co-founder, medical director and
practice manager of Dallas-Fort Worth
Fertility Associates. He serves on
TMA’s Committee on Reproductive,
Women’s and Perinatal Health and
as a delegate to the TMA House of
Delegates. Dr. Chantilis serves on the
Dallas County Medical Society (CMS)
Board of Directors.
Also from Dallas are TMAF Gala
Event Committee members Lisa
Swanson, MD; Deborah A. Fuller, MD;
and Sandi Ciarochi, a member of the
Dallas CMS Alliance
TMAF’s 26th Annual Gala — BIG &
BRIGHT! — will have a retro state fair
theme, designed to evoke memories
from when the Texas fair was an
escape from hard times through
fun games, chivalrous contests and
theatrical eccentricity. Attire will be
vintage 1930s and ’40s (optional) or
business casual.
More than 500 physicians and
friends of medicine will enjoy cocktails,
a seated dinner, live music, dancing,
auctions and more. TMAF’s annual gala
is the largest fundraiser of the year with
proceeds supporting TMA’s charitable
health improvement and quality of care
initiatives.
Sponsorships are available at
various recognition levels ranging
from $3,000 for a table of eight to
$50,000 for the exclusive presenting
sponsorship. Current top sponsors are
H-E-B, Drs. Nick and Leena Shroff,
Pfizer and Texas Medical Liability Trust
among other corporate and individual
supporters.
Many thanks to gala chairs and cochairs
and sponsors for helping make
TMAF’s 26th annual gala a success
to improve the health of all Texans. To
